Adam Marsh, who also publishes under the name A. Michael Marsh, published the book Mariner's Wake (2021) with Brick Cave. Prior to working with Brick Cave, Marsh published two novels in his Manal's Resurgence series, titled The Changed (2013) and The Survived (2017).

Books were the main source of entertainment in Marsh's home growing up. He found joy in getting lost in stories, and was inspired throughout his life to give that same experience to others through writing fiction.

Military
Marsh served in the U.S. Army.
Computing
Marsh received a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University. He now works as a Software Engineer in addition to writing novels.
Writing
Marsh publishes in the Science-Fiction genre. His writing has been characterized by reviewers as having insightful political commentary--often about climate crises, corporate power and public health--alongside riveting action sequences and characters. Marsh describes his work as being about ordinary people who do their best and persevere through situations where they are in over their heads, and cites his own gratitude for his ordinary, everyday life as the fuel for his style and characters.
Marsh's novels have received acclaim by reviewers and been considered for regional awards. Both books in the Manal's Resurgence series (The Changed and The Survived) received five star Clarion reviews from Indie Book reviewer Foreword Magazine.
Mariner's Wake, which was published by Brick Cave , received a starred review from Kirkus. The novel was also a finalist for the 2022 New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards in the Sci-fi/Fantasy category.
